GOLD EAGLES The American Eagle Gold Uncirculated Coins were introduced in 1986. Struck on specially burnished blanks, these coins offer precious metal purchasers a collectible version of the popular American Eagle Gold Bullion Coins and feature a finish similar to their bullion coin counterparts. The coins are available in four sizes – one ounce, one- half ounce, one-quarter ounce, and one-tenth ounce, as well as a four- coin set which contains one coin in each denomination. Each coin bears the “W” mint mark reflecting their striking at the United States Mint at West Point. The obverse features Augustus Saint- Gaudens’ full-length figure of Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse design, by sculptor Miley Busiek, features a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her eaglets. |
2008 PROOF SET This set enters its tenth and final year honoring the states in the order in which they were admitted into the Union. The 2008 United States Mint 50 State Quarters Proof Set ™ features five new quarter designs: Oklahoma’s “Scissortail Flycatcher,” New Mexico’s “Land of Enchantment,” Arizona’ s “Grand Canyon State,” Alaska’s “The Great Land,” and Hawaii’s “King Kamehameha I.” This set is a shining example of the United States Mint’s commitment to quality and excellence. United States Mint proof coins are extraordinarily brilliant, with sharp relief and a mirror-like background. Their frosted, sculpted foregrounds give them a special cameo effect. Proof blanks are specially treated, polished and cleaned to ensure high quality strikes. The blanks are then fed into presses fitted with specially polished dies and struck at least twice to ensure sharp, high relief. The coins are then packaged in presentation cases to showcase and maintain their exceptional finish. This set not only makes a great gift but is also an enduring reminder of the Nation’s natural beauty and history. These coins will be minted in 2008, and never again! |

| The Presidential One Dollar Coin Act of 2005 authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to strike one ounce, .9999 fine gold bullion coins. These are the first pure gold coins ever issued by the United States Government. The American Buffalo Gold Proof Coins are collector versions of the official United States Mint American Buffalo Gold Bullion Coins and are available in limited mintages. The designs are based on the original 1913, Type I Buffalo nickel, as designed by James Earle Fraser. The obverse features a profile of a Native American. The reverse features an American Buffalo (also known as a bison). |

| American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coins are struck on specially burnished blanks. This coin offers silver precious metal purchasers a new collectible version of the popular American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin and features a finish similar to its bullion coin counterpart. Each coin also bears the “W” mint mark reflecting its striking at the United States Mint at West Point. The artisans of the United States Mint have captured the grace and elegance of sculptor/engraver Adolph A. Weinman’s celebrated Walking Liberty design. The obverse design features an ever hopeful Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes, and carrying branches of laurel and oak in her arms to symbolize both civil and military glory. |
