History

Established in 1970, Frenchie's Coin & Stamp Mart opened its doors at 423 West Front Street in Monroe, MI and dealt exclusively in coins, stamps, and related supplies.

In 1982, after adding Fine Jewelry to their inventory, Frenchie and Mary Gail Beneteau purchased the building located at 15 East Front Street in Historic Downtown Monroe, MI. They, along with their son Brian, remodeled the structure to house what is now Frenchie's Fine Jewelry, Coins, & Stamps, Inc. From its antique leaded glass doors to its copper and tin ceiling, Frenchie's is truly a unique shopping experience.

While still catering to the coin & stamp collector and gold/silver investor, Frenchie's also carries an extensive variety of Fine Jewelry, including bridal sets, loose diamonds, colored gemstones, rings, earrings, pendants, sterling silver jewelry, class rings, and watches, all at the competitive prices. Also included in our inventory are bronze statues and Tiffany style lamps, along with many ofter gift items.

Frenchie's has a complete jewelry repair department, specializing in custom work and special orders. All work is done on the premises. Frenchie's does insurance and estate appraisals on both jewelry and numismatic items, and also purchases estate jewelry and numismatics.
