2024 Proof Set

Coin proof sets offered by the U.S. Mint are a treasured cornerstone for any numismatic collection. With their unique design and official Certificate of Authenticity, they create beautiful gifts and wonderful keepsakes.

In order to create the coin’s sharp relief and a mirror-like background, our specialized “proof” minting process requires manually feeding burnished coin blanks into presses where each coin is struck multiple times so the softly frosted and highly detailed images seem to float above the field. The coins are then packaged in a protective lens to showcase and maintain their exceptional finish.

This set not only makes a great gift but is also an enduring reminder of the Nation’s natural beauty and history.

Silver American Eagle

Perfect for any occasion, the American Eagle One Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin is a favorite among many collectors.

The obverse (heads) features Adolph A. Weinman’s full–length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left.

The reverse (tails) of the uncirculated silver coin features a heraldic eagle with shield, an olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left.

Each silver coin bears the “W” mint mark reflecting its striking at the West Point Mint and is packaged in a blue presentation box accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Gold American Eagle

The American Eagle Gold Uncirculated Coins were introduced in 1986. Struck on specially burnished blanks, these coins offer precious metal purchasers a collectible version of the popular American Eagle Gold Bullion Coins and feature a finish similar to their bullion coin counterparts.

The coins are available in four sizes – one ounce, one-half ounce, one-quarter ounce, and one-tenth ounce, as well as a four-coin set which contains one coin in each denomination. Each coin bears the “W” mint mark reflecting their striking at the United States Mint at West Point.

The obverse features Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ full-length figure of Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse design, by sculptor Miley Busiek, features a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and her eaglets.
